Derek Hatfield Around the World Alone, Now Montreal

One of the world’s and Canada’s most accomplished of sailors, Derek Hatfield is coming to speak at the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club. He holds title as the only Canadian ever to complete the Around Alone race, and did so despite pitch poling and dismasting his boat the Spirit of Canada, near Cape Horn. He will tell us all about it, and what the future plans are, on April 13th, 7:30 pm. This event is hosted by the R.St.L.Y.C. and our local Canadian Power and Sail Squadron. Everyone is welcome.
