Quebec Fireball Championship & Quebec Laser Regatta 2009
Thought you'd like a quick update on this weekend's Fireball/Laser regatta. Hosted by PCYC, Saturday and Sunday under the watchfull eye of P.R.O. Don McDonough and his crew. They did a tremendous job as the winds were mostly light, oscillating randomly both in strength and direction, varying from 2 to 6 knots. Take a look at the results. A very tight battle was fought between the first two Fireball crews and there was very close racing in the Laser fleet. My two cents worth of wisdom after this shifty weekend: "It's sometimes better to be lucky than to be good!"
