Lightnings Congregate in New Jersey For Long John Regatta this Week End

I am fortunate to have family on my wife's side living in a pretty part of coastal New Jersey. Nearby on the Navesink River is the Monmouth Boat Club which I have visited a number of times. It is a wonderful old club established in 1879 with an old natural wood clubhouse. They have some sharp small boat one design fleets. Relevant to Montreal Sailing is their notable Lightning Fleet. It is a bit far, but I believe some Montreal sailors from the local Lightning fleet made it down there for the popular Long John Regatta this week end. Many Lightning sailors from around the northeast congregate there for early spring racing. Hope it's been a great week end for everyone.
