Here we are in our first snow storm of the new year! Seems like a good time for some posts to remind us of the milder seasons, when sailing is possible! I mentioned in a previous post how well protected the boats seem to be in
Lachine. They are in pretty near proximity to the rapids but there is a large protected area visible in the previous
satellite shot. This one shows a close up of where a number of dinghies and very small boats are kept. The shore line is a popular path for bikers,
bladers, joggers and so on.
