Lasers and dinghies very visible as season begins

What a huge success the Laser camp was this past week end. Great start to the season. I think we can say that dinghy sailing is back in Montreal. Check out the # in Louis' note! The Lasers are leading the way, and I noticed during last night's first official race on Lac St. Louis plenty of small boats from single handers, maybe a Fireball out of the corner of my eye, to skiffs and cool, the Lightnings return to the course!

We had a great weekend with 16 laser sailors... quite a sight on Lac St-Louis. We had sailors come in from the townships, Quebec City, Trois-Rivières and Montreal. Dave Pelling gave a much appreciated talk on the new rules on Sunday. The weather was with us with light air on Saturday to practice boat handling and a good blow on Sunday to keep everybody honest. I'm still sore (and expect to be for a couple more days...)! Laser sailing is the best :--)
