Racing in wisps of air: for character building, or for turkeys?

Today, the Turkey Bowl was an exercise in persistence, a race of subtle helm and heel, and sails searching to attach air. All for turkeys. The better a competitor placed, the more raffle tickets received for fresh turkeys. Funny how this mighty contest draws more contestants than some pretty serious and heavy silverware.
